Artists I Like
As much as I love creating, I also love looking at what other people are doing. I imagine for viewers can be just as interesting to see the types of art an artist enjoys. Speaking for myself, the pieces I enjoy making vary wildly from those I appreciate! Below are a few artists I particularly like - I haven't space for them all and the list continues growing daily, but it's a decent start. (I hope the artists below don't mind me mentioning them, and that I have been accurate, please let me know if not!)
Experimental
He is a wonderful artist based in Birmingham, whose focus is 'illustrating the world through his own perspective, in hope the viewer reflects upon the work and its deeper meanings'. It's amazing how expressive his characters are, despite being faceless. I've yet to see a piece of his I wasn't completely in love with! Follow and purchase his work here:

Hy Amenero
He is a freelance illustrative artist who is inspired by plants, animals, and human enlightenment. 'He believes art is an alchemical act that allows us to look deep within ourselves and understand the purest aspects of our own souls. He hopes to impact humanity with his art and shed light on the beauty around and within us all.' I find his ability to combine drawing with digital is amazing, and his pieces to be so expressive, ethereal and beautiful. His art is available here:

Felicity Keefe
She's a contemporary landscape artist who is ' inspired by states of flux, the change from day into night, summer into winter, outward into inward.' Her amazing pieces seem to me to be both delicate and severe, like a forest fire in mid-winter. They speak to the moody side of me, and I love that some of her inspiration is the British countryside. Jason Anderson
He is a contemporary artist with a fascination for colour and a very particular style of painting he refers to as thick impressionist daubs. His technique 'creates a painting which, like the landscape, is constantly changing. So when you move around the room and the ridges of paint catch the light, there is always something new to see.' I particularly love the textures created by his application of paint, and the northern lights hues of his latest pieces! View his work here:

P. Van Gele
Wish I knew a bit more about this guy, as well as his inspirations. As I understand it most of his pieces are landscapes, and his focus is on experimenting - playing with texture and manipulating paint at length to create this stunning effect. What I do know is he certainly has a distinctive style! I also know I'm crazy for his pieces that combine deep colours with pops of brights or neons! His work is featured here:
