I currently offer two brands of shoe to request customs on - Adidas Original Superstars trainers and Dr Martens boots. Prices vary depending on type of shoe and design. Each listing has more information on pricing and available options, however if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

If you would like to enquire about getting a design on a shoe style, brand or material not listed, or if you wish to send me shoes, please email me before placing an order so we can discuss it further.

For custom design requests I take a non-refundable deposit of £35. I use it to cover some of my initial costs. The £35 deposit is included in your quoted price, and will be subtracted from your total at point of final sale.

Due to the highly individual nature of my work, unfortunately I am unable to offer returns or refunds on custom shoes. If you have an issue with a piece when it arrives, contact me and I'll see if I can help. For my part, I do my best to ensure a client is happy before I ask for payment and ship.

As a general rule, I do not consider requests for designs that copy another artist's work, even if it is a design many artists are using. If you have a request relating to a design like this, feel free to ask but do not be offended if I say no, or offer to adapt it in my personal style.

It's important you are fully aware of what you are purchasing beforehand. Each design is hand painted using Angelus paint (and Posca pens or products by Solarcolordust where stated in the listing), and I take great care to prepare, paint and seal each pair. As such, they should be reasonably weather and scratch resistant. Should you need to clean dirt off them, wipe gently and briefly with a soft cloth dampened by water with or without mild soap.

You must remember that these pieces are wearable works of art. When you buy hand painted apparel, you run the risk of cracks, chips, scuffs and marks etc. EVERY time you wear it. They are for CASUAL WEAR only. Wear at own risk!

I am a customiser - I do not offer shoe refurbishment or repairs. If you wish to send me pre-owned or used shoes to customise, I can often accept; however I make no claims that I will restore your shoes. I merely add custom designs. (Often, with simply a repaint and reseal a pair of shoes will look in better condition than before, but I cannot and do not promise this.) If you are concerned about the suitability of your shoes for customising, feel free to contact me. I always ask for a photo showing the condition of used shoes before accepting an order.
